Calling young creatives: Pitch Victoria's next Youth Myki Campaign!

Cinespace is working with the Victorian Department of Transport and Planning to create an ad campaign promoting free travel for under 18s on public transport with a Youth Myki  - and we need creative young Victorians to help!

We're looking for young people aged 12-18 from across Victoria, especially from the outer West, North and South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. You don't need any filmmaking experience - just an interest in ideas, storytelling, or how ads and campaigns get made.

When: 10am–4pm, October 1st

Where: Melbourne CBD

Who: Ages 12-18, no experience required

Reimbursement: $200 gift voucher

What is involved?

You'll take part in a one-day workshop (10am – 4pm) to help create the campaign concept proposals. Working in a small group with industry facilitators, you will:

  • Learn how agencies actually go from a brief to a pitch

  • Work in small groups to build your own campaign concept and storyboard

  • Pitch your idea back to the room, the way you would to a real client

Three concepts will be picked to go forward, and DTP will work with the selected ideas to help bring them to life - so there's a real chance your work ends up on cinema screens and social media!
