synopsis
‘Salma’s Season’ is a six-part Australian comedy series that chronicles the adventures of Salma, a 45-year-old Australian-Pakistani woman whose traditional world is turned upside-down when she rebels against her roles as a dutiful wife and doting mother to chase her dream of playing at the Australian Open grand slam tennis championship.
OUR PILOT PROGRAM
Prior to the formal launch of the RESIDENCY program we invited Cinespace alumni Kauthar Abdulalim and her company Blacksand Pictures to complete a pilot of the residency program.
This allowed us to test the systems and offerings of the program to ensure they were working effectively, as well as helped us understand challenges to be aware of.
We are grateful to producer Sher Li Tan and the entire Selma’s Season for working with our RESIDENCY operations team to help launch the program successfully.
