CINEMATOGRAPHY AND LIGHTING WORKSHOP
with
TAVIS PINNINGTON

The best way to learn filmmaking is by doing it

Are you a beginner or emerging videographer or cinematographer, looking to take your craft to the next level?

3 day theory and practical workshop ran by Tavis Pinnington - Cinematographer (Anak)

Cinematography, camera and lighting are one of the most crucial components to consider when making a film. Your role as a cinematographer relies on telling the story through the use of visuals. Using composition and lighting to convey an emotional response to story telling.

This cinematography workshop aims to teach aspiring cinematographers on how to convey an emotional response to story telling. The three day workshop will include a comprehensive course that talks about camera, composition, lighting and movement as well as practical elements such as lighting and framing a scene with a camera.

By the end of the three days, you’ll have an understanding on the role of the cinematographer and how to use these techniques to convey an emotional response to the films you make.

There’ll be three support workshops, each focusing on a different technical aspect of the craft.
