Cinespace Inc and Creative Brimbank are thrilled to present this year's 123 Film Competition as part of the Be Bold Festival with the theme: Living our Culture.

Explore the question of what culture means to you. And tell it in 1 location, using up to 2 actors (or characters) and within 3 minutes.

Films will be screened on loop during the Be Bold! Festival at The Bowery Theatre on 8 Oct 2022

This year the 123 Film Competition has partnered with the Let’s Make A Film! Program to provide filmmaking support in the form of three workshops, supported by Creative Brimbank. Register for 1, 2 or all 3.

Eligibility

Open to Victorian Residents only
Films must have 1 location, up to 2 actors/characters, 3-minute max duration
Created within the last 6 months 2022
Submit a high-res film file. Note selected films will be posted on Creative Brimbank-hosted and/or Cinespace-hosted platforms

Formats

Landscape (YouTube) or Vertical (Tiktok, Instagram Reels)
MP4 file

Entrants provides a licence for Cinespace, Brimbank City Council and Victoria University to use the films or any images within the films for non-commercial, promotional purposes as part of this project delivery, with this licence ending 31 Dec 2022. Cinespace reserves the right to make changes to competition at its discretion.
